Demonstration - See & Try
The Montana Assistive Technology Program (MATP) provides assistive technology (AT) device demonstrations so individuals and groups can trial numerous AT tools and computer options. Demonstrations are available at the Montana Technology Access Center (MTAC) in Missoula, statewide by videoconference, and may be arranged by other means. Device demonstrations are guided activities for individuals or small groups to:
- learn if there are AT options that may be of benefit
- explore a wide range of devices or computer options
- compare similar devices
- try a specific device or computer application
Most devices in the MTAC are also available for short term loan to allow an individual to use a device in a typical setting for a 30-day trial period. Device demonstrations help individuals explore available options to determine what works best for them, thereby enabling them to make informed choices.
