Funding Sources
Determining a funding source, or someone to pay for, an Assistive Technology (AT) device is often the final step to acquisition. There are many funding sources available and each has its own requirements for eligibility and rules for the types and amounts of AT funding provided. This funding resource guide is intended to help consumers find funding sources to help them acquire the AT they need and want.
The Montana Assistive Technology Program (MATP) offers a Financial Loan program in partnership with Community Bank Missoula. All Montanans are eligible for this program, and it can be used to purchase any type of AT or Adaptive Equipment, including vehicle accessibility modifications, but cannot be used for the entire purchase of a vehicle.
Learn more about the MATP Financial Loan program here or call MATP directly at 406-243-5751 (Missoula) or 877-243-5511 (toll free Montana).
Visit our Funding Resource Guide to search for funding you might be eligible for.
* If you are aware of a funding source for which Montanans might be eligible but that is not included on this funding resource guide, please contact us directly at 406-243-5751 (Missoula) or 877-243-5511 (toll free Montana) so we can provide that information to our users.
