Tours
The Montana Technology Access Center (MTAC) features a wide range of assistive devices that are available for demonstration, evaluation, and loan. informative and educational tours are available to explore the wide variety of devices available ranging from simple “low tech” solutions for everyday tasks such as cooking to complex options such as dynamic communication devices. The center also has numerous computers with adaptive software, hardware, and ergonomic options. Any individual or group is welcome to tour MTAC by arranging a time when a MonTECH staff member is available.
Examples of groups MonTECH has routinely provided tours to include:
- Consumers, families, and/or caregivers
- Home and Community Based Services personnel
- Independent Living Center personnel
- School teams and administrators
- Vocational Rehabilitation staff
- Community Organizations
- Future educators enrolled in UM Curriculum & Instruction courses
- Physical therapy students
- Conference attendees
- State Agency representatives and staff
MTAC is located in Missoula at 700 S.W. Higgins Ave., Suite 250 but tours and exploration are available by videoconference with advanced planning.
