Demonstrations

The Montana Assistive Technology Program provides assistive technology device demonstrations which provide an opportunity to explore the numerous AT tools and computer options in the Montana Technology Access Center (MTAC). Device demonstrations are guided activities for individuals or small groups to:

• learn if there are AT options that may be of benefit
• explore a wide range of devices or computer options
• compare similar devices
• try a specific device or computer application

Many of the devices in MTAC are also available for short term loan, allowing an individual to use the device for a trial period. Device demonstrations assist the individual in discovering available options and exploring what works best for them thereby enabling them to make an informed choice.
