Shareware and Demonstration Software Links
- Freeware is software that is available for download at no
cost to the user.
- Shareware is software that is generally not free. The author of
the software asks the person using the software for a small amount
of money. The entire transaction between the owner and the user is
usually done on a trust basis. There is also a type of shareware
that is free. This software is free for an individual to download
for their personal use, but it is not free to businesses or for commercial
use.
- Demonstration software is free for a limited amount of time so
an individual can use the software before deciding to purchase it.
