The DynaWrite allows type and talk communication. It uses word prediction and abbreviation expansion to increase communication, and a computer can be controlled by the device using using AccessIT. Documents created on the DynaWrite can be backed up to a Window or Macintosh computer. Newer models have Onboard Universal Remote Control for common household appliances such as TVs, DVD and CD players, and IR phones. It includes a personal reminders menu. Font size is adjustable from 10 point to 72 point, and it displays up to 10 lines of text in 12 point font size. Scanning accessory is available, but not with this model
