Welcome to the MONTANA ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM--EXCHANGE

The MATP-E program is to allow Montanans to post, sell and purchase from others gently used assistive technology and adaptive equipment to improve the independence of those living with disabilities. Simply put, this is the "craigslist" of all equipment specially designed to help people live full lives at home, work, and in the great outdoors.

STEP 1: If you are a new user of this website, please create a user account by selecting "Create Account" from the links on the right or by using the link on the Log In page to Create an account". Complete all fields and note that those fields with a red asterisk are required.

If you are a returning user, please begin by selecting "Log In" from the links on the right.

STEP 2: Look for an item listed: After you log in select "Search" from the links on the right.

You may search for equipment several ways:

• To do a quick search for items that others have listed for sale, exchange, giveaway, or need through the MATP-E program, type a search term in the quick search box at the top of this page, and then click on the 'Search' button.
• To view a list of all equipment that is for sale, exchange, giveaway, or need through the MATP-E program, leave the quick search field blank and click on the 'Search' button.
• To search or browse for items within a specific category, or to search for an item that is available through any loan or exchange program (not just the MATP-E program) click on the 'Search by Category' link and follow the directions on that page.

STEP 3: Listing an item: After you log in, select "Add Exchange Item" from the user tools listed on the right of the page. Complete all fields on the page and then click on the "Add Exchange Item" button at the bottom of the page. After you create the listing, you can then view the listing and add a picture of the item.
