The 5 lb sandbag weight can be used in conjunction with the convertible tripod (MATOR026) to offset the weight of the mounted optic when the tripod is converted to provide access to a person seated in a wheelchair. The sandbag stabilizes tripods to prevent tipping and/or maximize stability for viewing.
