User can start, stop and adjust their speeds by rotating the dial. The system weighs only 12.5 lbs (5.7 kg) and simply attaches on the back of the chair. FIREFLY - With 350 watts and 5 speed modes the Firefly can take you up to 12 miles per hour. The removable, lightweight, lithium ion battery gives you a 15 mile range. If you are considering purchasing your own, The Firefly attaches to most wheelchairs but is best suited to chairs with rigid footplates and little to no taper.
