OrCam Read is an artificial intelligence (AI) device that reads text out loud. It is helpful for individuals with visual impairments or reading difficulties, like dyslexia and reading fatigue. The OrCam Read can be used in any environment, including low-light, and without requiring any internet connectivity. The device can be easily used to read any kind of printed or digital text. People who have severe levels of visual impairment would have difficulties using this device. ***The purchase of this item was made possible thanks to funding from the Montana Office of Public Instruction and is to be used explicitly by teachers and staff of Montana's public schools, and students/families who attend Montana's public schools.
