Big Button with Steps and Levels
The Big Button with Steps and Levels is an easy-to-use AAC device with a large play button. A removable transparent cap snaps onto the play button and has an opening on top for sliding in 3" x 3" visual icons. This device has two modes: steps and levels. In the steps mode, you can record three activities, each with up to ten 6-second steps. After recording, you can select an activity and the user will play the steps in sequence, one by one. In the steps mode, each time the button is pressed, a different sequence in the activity plays. An LED light indicates the activity and step number. The level mode gives you an additional ten distinct messages, which stay the same each time the button is pressed, until you change the level. The level can be changed by moving the switch in the back of the button to 1, 2, or 3. The yellow buttons on the side of the device control volume. This device is switch accessible. Switches must be checked out separately. Icons can be made with GoTalk Design app. ***The purchase of this item was made possible through funding from the Maternal Child Health Title V Block Grant as part of Children's Special Health Services within the MT Department of Public Health and Human Services.***
