Soundbeam uses ultrasonic sensors to detect movement - big or small - and translates this into sounds, providing a medium through which individuals with a range of abilities can become expressive musicians. It comes with pre-loaded 'soundsets' that range from tracks which allow the exploration and performance of different genres such as blues and classical, to more improvisational soundscapes, to pre-recorded songs like "Happy Birthday" or "Old McDonald". Soundbeam is completely customizable if desired, with the ability to record your own melodies and even upload videos to play along with the music.
