The ProSlate 10 is a Forbes AAC dedicated device compatible with almost any AAC app through iOS software and comes with several AAC apps downloaded. The item includes a durable and splash-resistant case with a flexible wire stand for ergonomic adjustment. The case also includes a removable shoulder strap for easy carrying. The device includes a removable sound pod with volume controls designed to produce louder volume than the iPad itself. This sound pod can be worn on the lanyard provided, held by the user in hand, or attached to the back of the device via magnet. A removable stylus is also attached to the back of the case. The ProSlate 10 is a dedicated Speech Generating Device (SGD) that is covered by insurance/Medicaid and locked so that only AAC apps can be used. Screen measures 11" and device weighs 2.4 lbs.
