Zoom In/Out (All Modern Browsers)
You can quickly enlarge or reduce the entire page (text and images) using your keyboard:
- Windows:
- Zoom in:
Ctrl++ - Zoom out:
Ctrl+- - Reset:
Ctrl+0
- Zoom in:
- Mac:
- Zoom in:
Command++ - Zoom out:
Command+- - Reset:
Command+0
- Zoom in:
Each time you press the keys, the page size will adjust.
Browser Zoom Settings (Optional)
You can also adjust zoom through browser menus:
Microsoft Edge / Google Chrome
- Select the menu (three dots in the top-right corner)
- Find the Zoom option
- Increase or decrease as needed
You can also set a default zoom level:
- Go to Settings → Appearance → Zoom
Mozilla Firefox
- Select the menu (☰ in the top-right corner)
- Use the Zoom controls directly
Optional:
- Go to Settings → General → Language and Appearance
- Adjust default zoom level
Safari (Mac)
- From the top menu, select View
- Choose:
- Zoom In
- Zoom Out
Additional accessibility options:
- Go to Safari → Settings → Advanced
- Set a minimum font size for better readability
Mobile Devices
- Use pinch-to-zoom with two fingers to enlarge or reduce content
- Many devices also support system-wide text scaling in accessibility settings
System Accessibility Options (Recommended)
For a more consistent experience across all apps:
- Windows:
- Settings → Accessibility → Display
- Adjust Text size or Display scaling
- Mac:
- System Settings → Accessibility → Zoom or Display
- Enable screen zoom or increase interface size

Screen readers read on-screen content aloud and allow navigation using the keyboard.
Tip
Keyboard shortcuts are the fastest and most universal way to control zoom. Use them first before adjusting browser or system settings.
