MonTECH has a secondary mission: support the capacity of our community to better serve Montanans with complex communication needs. Our annual conference, MontCOMM, features presenters of international reputation sharing expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). But we’re taking it one giant step further!
Our monthly AAC Town Hall provides a forum for Montana’s professionals to share information and learn from each other. Network with practitioners encountering the same obstacles of practicing in a rural state with limited resources, serving a population requiring a special skill set. Without knowledgeable SLPs, OTs, and educators, Montanans who could benefit from AAC are voiceless!
We welcome you to our Montana AAC Town Hall, once a month from 4:00-5:00 pm. Practitioner-focused for therapists and educators, but families, caregivers, direct support staff, and case managers are also welcome.
Set aside one hour a month to build relationships with your colleagues, collaborate, support, and learn together.
May 4th, 4:00-5:00 – Making AAC Fun!
