Tech Fest is an opportunity for all Missoula County Public School staff to explore assistive technology’s role in education and in the success of students of all levels of ability. MonTECH will provide a display of technology for hands-on demonstration, as well as classes. Topics include: Introduction to MonTECH, Switch Access, Speech Recognition, AT for Low and No Vision, Introduction to Montana Adaptive Equipment Program for Students with Developmental Disabilities, and Three Tools for Note-taking. In addition, MonTECH team member Scott Thomas will demonstrate his eye-gaze computer access system. This will be a whole-team effort, and we are looking forward to a great day! Tech Fest will be held at Missoula’s Sentinel High School on April 24th, approximately 9 a.m – 3:30 p.m.
